Fall 2015: The first volume of InSight Words is currently in production. This volume targets words with single vowel-letter graphemes that do not represent the default phonological value. Additional volumes are anticipated through 2016.

LEX InSight Words offer an inquiry-based understanding of words that most literacy instruction cannot explain. Commonly referred to as “sight words,” “red words,” “learned words,” “outlaw words,” “oddball words,” “rule-breakers” and other pointless names, these words are usually slated for memorization rather than investigation. The LEX InSight Words are structured to reveal and reinforce the nature of the writing system scientifically, one InSight at a time.
