A Weekend to Remember
If you’re local in the Philadelphia area, or traveling in for the Etymology seminar on March 23-24, consider extending your stay by a day on the front end.
On Friday, March 22nd, I will be presenting (solo) a seminar on English Spelling just up the road from the Etymology seminar (on Saturday-Sunday, March 23-24, with Douglas Harper of The Online Etymology Dictionary).
Registration discounts are available for anyone registering for both seminars. That’s three days of real language arts — and language sciences.

Am dying for registration details! Please send them along when they’re available. Wish I were seeing you at IDA, but alas, I’m saving my travel funds for Philly. Please keep an eye out for my friend and colleague, Jean Hutchinson. She’s the learning specialist at our school, and we work very closely together. I told her to look for the LEX booth in the Exhibit Hall.
